Larry McDowell has been teaching hand drumming in the Asheville area for decades and is a loved and respected fixture of our local drumming scene. He believes in the power of drumming to create positive change in ourselves, our communities and our world! Larry is generously lending his skills to teach a free community drum class every Monday at The Well. While classes are free, donations of any amount are VERY gratefully accepted to help with expenses and be able to continue to provide these classes. Bring a drum or use one that is provided. These classes are perfect for beginner and intermediate students. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
