Electricollective: Open Mic, Synth Jam, Skill Share

Once again, The Well welcomes synthesists, producers, and electronic musicians of all types to our monthly community event, Electricollective, where we will perform for each other, jam together, and share skills.

The first half will be an open mic. The idea is that people will sign up ahead of time (or the day of if there are slots available) to perform a short 10-15 minute set of their original electronic music. If they wish, they can solicit feedback or talk about the techniques they used to produce it.

The second part of the event will start with a skill share section, in which rotating speakers will show off skills they use in their productions. Anyone who wants to take part in this, let us know! We'd love to hear what you to share!

After that, we'll shift into an open jam, where anyone is welcome to join in. Bring an instrument, modular rig, or whatever you use to create music. We'll have plenty of channels on the mixer to plug in to the PA.

There is no cost for the event, but we very much welcome donations for the space!

PM us here if you'd like to reserve a slot, or if you have something you'd like to present for the skill share.

We're hoping to do this every month and start facilitating more community in Asheville's electronic music scene!
