The Well welcomes Spectral Habitat on Saturday, May 25 from 8-11 pm.
Spectral Habitat is multi-instrumentalists Meg Mulhearn and Elisa Faires (https://elisafaires.com/). Calling upon strong roots in classical, drone, and heavy music, the duo uses vocals, violin, effects, synthesizers, and field recordings to create dynamically-rich, immersive sonic landscapes. Powerful audience response clarifies that their music opens space for self-exploration, and their live shows and composing process have evolved into more immediate, improvisational realms. The reflection of many travels, live shows, and composing residencies on both coasts, their first record was released in 2020 on Verses Records.
